Meet Sammie: Spreading Joy, One Scoop at a time

My love affair with pink began long before I can remember. From childhood bedrooms adorned with blush hues to a Barbie-esque convertible car and even a cupcake van called Lily, pink has always been my signature colour. But it wasn't just a colour choice, it was a reflection of my personality and zest for life.

After pursuing a successful career in the City in executive recruitment, following my dreams as a singer and singing teacher and also owning a cupcake business for many years, my world was rocked in 2021 by the sudden loss of my husband, Graham. Life seemed like it had lost all hope and purpose.

Gigi - A Twist of Fate

In a twist of fate, I contacted a friend with a beautiful vintage ice cream van and asked her if she would attend Graham's Celebration of Life ceremony.

She informed me that she was no longer using the van and was going to be putting it up for sale.

Something about the retro charm and nostalgia stirred my soul, igniting a spark of inspiration within me. With a leap of faith and a heart full of determination, I decided to embark on a new chapter of my life and bought the van!

Gigi brings joy & healing

Transforming the vintage ice cream van into a whimsical oasis on wheels, renaming her GiGi (GG - Gorgeous Graham) I set out on a mission to spread joy and sweetness wherever she went. From intimate weddings to lively parties and corporate events, Gigi continues to be a beacon of happiness, drawing smiles and laughter from everyone she encounters.

With each scoop of ice cream served I have found healing and purpose in bringing delight to others. Through the highs and lows, I have discovered that life's greatest treasures are found in the simple moments of connection and shared joy.
